A Surveillance Interview with Dr. Albert Yeh
In a recent interview
in Poland, Dr. Albert Yeh, Vice AirLive Products Division, discusses the
proposed scenarios and challenges that new forms of surveillance and
monitoring.
-Upon returning to
their homes, people no longer need to touch the elevator button because the
same system automatically recognizes IP cameras. So will our future be?
- Currently, IP monitoring focuses on the recording and
registration of the images but in future the use of cameras will provide more
functionality. Very soon, they will become smarter solutions that analyze the
images and sounds perfectly possible to identify a person and with all the
capabilities to deploy the most appropriate action. For example, specify a
particular surveillance area in a work environment or, as in my home-state to
the elevator that stops on a particular floor or department welcome the turning
on the lights and electronic devices such as TV or coffee and even the bath and
shower.
